Hamlet!

For my passage, I had 1:2:67-89, where Hamlet talks about his sorrow, and the Queen questions him as to why he's feeling so blue. I wondered whether Hamlet's sorrow was caused by his father's death, as the king assumes. In response, there was some discussion over whether Hamlet is torn between his duty to his country and his duty to his father. Because there has been so much talk about questionable loyalty to the king, Hamlet's lack of duty to his country and loyalty to his dead father suggests that he suspects that there is some foul play afoot, and serves as evidence to us as readers that Claudius means no good.
